They promised GMOs would enable farmers to use fewer pesticides, but that did not prove to be true.

In fact, it proved to be The Big Lie. How Big?

According to a peer reviewed study by Washington State Professor Charles Benbrook, herbicide use increased from 11 million pounds in 1987 to 527 million pounds in 2011.

Consequent to the increased use, pesticide residues, like that of the weed killer glyphosate, can now be found in, and on, just about every living thing. The maker of glyphosate– trade name Roundup– claims the human body simply slough the stuff. And that claim is backed by the full force of the federal government.

But others, like research scientists Don Huber, Stephanie Seneff and Anthony Samsel, claim there is a direct link between glyphosate and the development of disease. And in fact, the World Health Organization now claims glyphosate is a “probable cause of cancer in humans.”

In a forthcoming peer-reviewed article, Anthony Samsel will document how glyphosate has been worked into the nation’s vaccines.

And his revelation leads us to ask….

  1. I am a farmer and I spray approx $100,000 of chemical every year thousands of litres of it. I am sick of it , I know it’s bad,it kills small animals. Solution is I am selling the farm,I know it’s bad. Regards Andrew.

I am a retired farmer. One year ago my wife and I sold our farm after 40 years. We were organic farmers for the past 8 years. However, the chemical farming that was going on around us was too much to handle. We left the area and moved to a non agricultural part of the country. At least chemical farming in not in our face any more, but it is in nearly everything eaten unless you grow it yourself. I am afraid no matter where you go there is no escape. I have no faith in the government to police this. The people have to rise up and demand this chemical madness is stopped. There is power in the consumer. Just look at the response to claims of ‘gluten free’ on products that never had gluten. As consumers we can direct the future, but consumers must educated.
